I know YouTube has many videos on the air sense 11. 99 percent of them are positive. I watch YouTube. its not the same platform anymore its turning into a dog and horse show.
i believe what granny was asking you is WHICH video?
you have to subscribe to cpap reviews. he has a list of his videos. he shows a teardown of the air mini with the 20 dollar air pump that goes into the air sense 11. go to search on YouTube and put in cpap reviews. when you see him scribe to his video list. if you want more videos. go to search and look for resmed air sense 11. YouTube will spit out all kinds of interesting videos on the air sense 11. let me know if you have any trouble.
?? *I* was asking for clarification, not asking for help. you said "I saw the video on YouTube" which is what prompted chicago granny to say "There are many reviews of the 11 on youtube." which is what led to my comment above.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

I was using the DreamStation auto bi pap as I had bought that machine in 2019. It no longer has the foam in it as I removed it. I decided to try my luck with insurance and have them pay for it. They said I had to go through the motions with the auto cpap first before I could even consider the bi pap. I kinda wish I had the AirSense 10 because after I truly owned it I would yank the foam out as there's no point in it being in there. After calling and bugging the DME to change the settings to simulate to my bi pap it does seem to ramp down some but nothing like my auto bi pap that things is so easy to get use to. I got use to it within 3 days of using it compared to a old auto cpap I tried. The AirSense 11 isn't bad but time will tell if I get use to it, while it ramps down it doesn't compare to the auto bi-pap. I had only been using it 2-3 hours these last 3 nights as that new smell is horrible I find. First night kinda gave me a headache. I do like the fact it seems like the humidifier does heat up really well or could be my DreamStation was wearing out.

Pugsy is the one who got me dialed in on my old machine. The DME scared me at first saying I couldn’t change them but caught her in a lie to realize I can change my own now. I really wish I could push and play them to get me a bipap I like it much more.

What were your machine settings on the BiPAP (Bilevel for PR), and what are they on your current machine?

Yep, that can't be duplicated on an APAP. What are the settings you are currently using?

The "new car" smell in my 11 went away with the the first sink washing a week into using it. BTW, remember to wash the air inlet valve from inside also.

Scary!
Note: Newbies--this is a HORRIBLE idea!
It's funny; the "new cpap" smell was a little undesired with my first one, but later on,
I have grown to appreciate the essence of "new machine", and just roll with it.

Uh, no.. mask, cushions, tube and air inlet in the sink for a quick soak and a rinse took the odor out of mine.

Sorry for slow reply, airsense 11 is 10.4 it’s like it’s to little but 10.6 was way to high. That reductive valve I forget it’s name is set to 3.

I still get a weird smell with this thing. I’ve washed it all and what I do is use dawn soap and wash it it the shower useing my my hand held it has good pressure. When I first add water to try and sleep with it I get a weird plastic smell as if this thing has no water in it till I get use to it somewhat yet still has that faint smell. I usually switch to my bi pap after a few hours give or take and instantly fall asleep. By the way my dreamstation I removed the foam and taped the holes up in a way I
Don’t smell they sticky of the tape. So stupid them using foam in these things. There not loud with no foam inside.

Neither tbe bullfrog nor I find the coal trains excessively noisy.
This house has almost NO insulation, and the tracks are but 200 feet away.
Luckily, we are both hard of hearing. Not so much a handicap here . . .
