Resmed Airsense 10- I was having the same wheezing noise described. I went into the config settings and found that the tube was set on slim line! I changed it to standard and the noise has stopped for now. Thanks for the Tip!
I believe I had the same issue. I already had scheduled the appointment with the DME when I saw your comment. But my CPAP was in my car. When I got to the DME, I plugged it in and noticed that it was set for Slimline tubing, which I've never used. I changed the setting. The respiratory therapist came in. I told him the problem. II couldn't put the thing on to breath because of COVID. However, he tested the machine and said it was a little noisy but that it's way too early to have it replaced under warranty. I think it's fixed but won't know until I go home and use the thing.

I occasionally get a whistling noise when the humidifier is not securely seated. Try pushing it in and see if it clicks into place. Just a thought.

I’m having problems with the wheezing as well. This is my 3rd ResMed machine, so I’m used to using a CPAP. I bought the machine from a private company, and it had a wheezing sound when I’d use it. The sound resonated up the tube, so earplug didn’t help. It wheezed on inhale only. If it had a constant wheeze, I might have been able to cope with it. I took the machine back, but the Respirator Therapist said she couldn’t hear anything, but she did sent it back. The second machine made the same wheeze on inhale, but the company refused to send it back, or refund my money. I called Resmed and they told me they don’t deal with customers, so they can’t help me. What a waste of money.

I can’t stand the noise, and I’ve checked the seal on the humidifier. I use a climate control hose, so can’t change the hose size. I thought buy from another company. Philips DreamStation was recalled because of the foam in the machine. Does anyone have any suggestions for a QUIET, nonwheezy machine? ?

as was mentioned, mouse pad which works for some.

me, i use some foam from the local fabric shop about an inch thick. no more noise!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
