Airsense 11 and 12 volt Adapter

Post by lakejumper » Thu Oct 07, 2021 2:54 pm

Hi, I just got an Airsense 11 to replace my broken Airsense 10. I need a 12 volt adapter and Resmed says that it isn’t available yet with no ETA. Has anyone had success using another cord or are you just plugging it into an inverter? We’re going camping for 5 nights and would like to use the machine. TIA

A few years ago I bought a battery for my S9 Series H5i heated humidifier with climate control. I just got the new airsense 11 which has a weirdo plug that does not fit any of the plugs/cables the battery came with. I called the battery people and they said they will not have adapters for 6-8 months.

Use an inverter.
You can always use it later for nearly anything AC powered.

The “battery people” are like the “mole people”. Just joking. The battery people are the company I bought the battery from.

Thank you everyone! I agree, why does Resmed keep changing the AC plugs?? It would be nice to be apple to use existing DC converters/adapters. I’m going to get a portable power station to use the CPAP in our RV. I don’t want to drain the RV batteries, even though I turn off the humidifier.

It makes no sense unless they like to sell converters.

Why do laptop vendors keep changing the AC plugs?

The plug for the S9, ick.
Air 10? like newer laptops
Air 11? like newest laptops.

Why won’t this work? It seems to be adapter to connect to 12V battery to 65 watt for Resmed 11.

Forum members here and elsewhere have verified it does work with the Air 11.
