Removing insulation that caused recall of Philips System One

Post by snorebeard » Wed Oct 13, 2021 12:39 pm

I have been posting asking about this and I have been unable to find any replies or even my message. Is there a thread or place that I should be discussing this.
After waiting months and getting no answers or replacement from Philips and being scared about using the machine, I want to remove the insulation, which is not hard to do, and breath without fear using my CPAP. Can I get your thoughts, please. Thanks

I don't see any previous posts where you asked about this. Perhaps you forgot to hit the "submit" button?

In any case, there is a HUGE thread here that includes lots of information and opinions related to your questions. I suggest reading through that as a start.

I would be afraid of releasing the harmful foam by opening the machine and tampering with it. It's probably a better alternative to use the machine without touching it, if you really must.

Also, given that this machine is > 5 years old, you should be eligible for a replacement.
