Post by carol1967 » Fri Sep 10, 2021 5:44 am

Hi there.
I was wondering what people wear to protect there hair from the straps on there masks. My straps are breaking my hair.
Thanks x

I put my hair up in a ponytail or side braids. Only thing that has helped me.
Started with Airsense 10auto cpap, switched to AirCurve10-vauto August 2021.
Amaraview full face mask and climateair tubing.

When I was using an older style mask that had "harsh" headgear, I wore a Buff - https://www.buffusa.com/

Which mask are you using? Some of the newer models have "gentler" headgear, and some come with covers for the straps.

Many of the "neck gaiters" sold for mask alternatives can be used as a head cover.
Some may even be found on clearance--a gift from pandemic-denial.
I found some so sheer, their only function would be deceit.
