What to do with old machine
My Remstar M is displaying a Service Needed message and I do not wish to put more $ into it. Doea anyone take old machines? Seems like such a waste to put it in the trash.
Re: What to do with old machine
might check with acbio.com
they have been known to repair machines and then donate to cpap donation places. I don't know about the M series but wouldn't hurt to give them a call.

My city takes all electronics including old medical devices (they also take old glucose monitors). They are big on recycling here. Check with your city or county. If not, then into the trash it goes. Best Buy will not accept old medical devices for their recycling program.Lg wrote:My Remstar M is displaying a Service Needed message and I do not wish to put more $ into it. Goodwill DESTROYS any cpaps they get.
They may get a bounty from the manufacturers.
At least, it would not surprise me.

Re: What to do with old machine
M-series machines don't have much value, and one that is need of repair is pretty worthless. If it's not suitable for a backup for yourself, then just dump it, especially if it is straight CPAP.
