I think that is a serial number. The model number is usually DS###. It would help to know. Model is on the bottom tag. Also is this unit equipped with a humidifier?

If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

Then I guess you need to take it to the DME for "service".

Sure is...I should have known since I just discontinued using the Auto version of that model. A User Manual can be found here http://www.spiropharma.dk/uploads/REMst ... ngelsk.pdf

The trouble codes are on page 5-2 of that manual. You might get the code to cancel by pulling the Smartcard out from the slot in the right rear of the machine. It could be installed backwards. If that doesn't get it, I would also try unplugging the unit and seeing if it can be started in another location (unlikely, but you might have a bad RFI situation or bad outlet).

I've had that happen on my m series when putting the smartcard back in the machine. Try removing it and re inserting it. Never looked for an error code when it did it as it was hard to view the screen where the unit was located.

In each of my cases, I had just re inserted the smartcard after reading it. Pulling the card and putting it back into the unit cleared the issue.

unless you're pulling your data with the smartcard reader for encore, you don't even need the smartcard inserted.

Take the blower unit off of the humidifier. It just lifts up. Then remove the data card. See if the blue lights go away. If so, put things back together and see what happens.

In theory, you can use the unit without the humidifier, but you need a little fitting that everyone seems to lose to hook up the hose.

Respironics M series humidifiers had some problems with the humidifier that would cause the flashing blue light of death problem.

BTW, the newer machines are MUCH better in several ways. Check the links in my signature line in case you need to buy a new machine to keep from getting screwed by the DME (CPAP salesman) with a bad machine.

All of my blue lights are flashing and I have no data card in. There’s no display and it does not blow at all. What do I do? I have a referral to possibly get a new machine, but with my ins it could take a while.

There may be machines listed here on the forum. I found my back up machine on Facebook marketplace, and it was much cheaper than I could find any place else.
