How to record my O2?

Post by Carl LaFong » Wed Sep 14, 2011 4:24 pm

Wondering if there's a way to do this during sleep and can it be logged like my sleep data? Can it be incorporated into SleepyHead/Encore?

SleepyHead is now set up to show the stats from some overnight recording oximeters. Encore software will not allow adding the data from oximeters.

Contec CMS50 Oximeters will work with SleepyHead.

There are several models and many forum members have them. I don't have one so I can't offer ideas on which one.
Between $80 and $100 and come with the software for the reports and the data can be imported into SleepyHead.

Pulseoxstore is a good supplier.

If you buy the CMS-50D, you need the CMS-50D PLUS. Only the PLUS model will connect to your computer.

You want a downloadable pulse oximeter.

You may need to be a little bit geek to get the software working for you. On many of the CMS oximeters, you have to use the provided USB cable, a generic cable won't work.

Carl, I got this unit but it has its own graphing software. The problem is that it is not synchronised with the Resmed Resscan software graphs unless you could stertch the paper somehow to match the hours.

During sleep it just records the data inside. In the next morning you download into your computer.

Here is a sample of its data printed from a computer:

A unit per your description that connects to a computer and records on line chould cost more than $1K.

Good suff. Thanks everyone. I'm an uber-geek and a data junkie. I do this kind of thing for a living and will make this work!
