I have used a CPAP before and have been a bit lazy in using like I should. My doctor chewed me a good one today and is ordering me a new machine. I wanted to get a couple views on which mask to get. I have a full beard and the ones I have had before were not that great. The first one that came with my machine was terribile. I am not sure of the brand but it was nasal pillows where it came over the top of your head and then I purchased a ResMed(not sure of the Model) full face mask which was ok but still not that great it leaked alot. I do toss and turn alot during the night and that maybe part of the problem. I also am a side sleeper most of the time rarely I will sleep on my back but like I said it is rarely. Any words of wisdom will be greatful appericated.
Thanks
Charles

Finding the right mask is the hardest part of this treatment. Fortunately, there a lot to choose from ... but unfortunately, it can get expensive finding the right one.
Everyone's face is different so just having someone say this is the best mask doesn't really help you that much unless that person has the same size/shape head and facial features as you.
For toss-n-turn sleepers, you will want to consider masks capable of routing the hose up over your head with the assistance of some device to hold the hoseover your headboard ... this allows you to spin around like a rotisserie.
If you are prone to leak the air pressure out of your mouth, you will need to figure out how you want to approach that fix. Some tape their lips, others glue with polident strips, and others must use a full face mask ... few are able to effectively use a chinstrap alone to keep their yap shut.
Keep trying to get this therapy to work ... my guess is that your doctor is a lot like mine and hates it when one of thier patients dies because it makes them look bad.

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
