Data woes: OSCAR and the PR System 1's screen say different things

Post by robysue1 » Mon Sep 19, 2022 7:07 am

Folks,

The PR System One's screen says I used the machine for 6.5 hours last night, which seems about right given when I went to bed, when I woke up and what went on during the night.

OSCAR, however, is saying the machine was only on for 4:43 and shows a huge gap in data between 5:37am and the rest of the night.

Any ideas on my System One might not be recording all the data to the SD card?

I haven't been checking my data using OSCAR/SleepyHead on a regular basis for quite a while since most of the time I've been feeling pretty decent on waking. But since a few issues are starting to raise their heads (mainly aerophagia and an uptick in migraines), I'm wanting to do some serious troubleshooting before things really get out of whack and it's much harder for me to fix them. So I don't know when a problem with a discrepancy between the machine's LCD and what is written to the SD card might have started.

I always assume things like this are one-offs until the next night proves me wrong.

I'd be inclined to say Gremlins (i.e. a one-off) except that in the cursory look I've given the data from the last month seems to show a bunch of these things. But since I wasn't paying attention, I can't say for sure.

So ...

We're going to keep an eye on this problem. And if it doesn't recur I'll write it off as Gremlins. But if I see it again, I'll post here again. And if it occurs with enough frequency, I'll even post a screen shot or two of the data.

So today's data on the screen and in OSCAR are in agreement.

And so I think I will write yesterday's problem off to Gremlins playing mischief.
