Good point!
For years, her uneven heartbeat was pooh-poohed by her doc.
Then she moved to Billings--new doc--pacemaker--ta-dah!

all it takes is that one doc who will actually listen.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

The trick is getting YOUR doctor to listen.
Not everyone can shop around.

Saw the doc before my chemo today.
I have a PET scan in two weeks, or so (Nov. 1st)
Doc has been saying a round of radiation would save me a month of chemo.
Looking at side effects of radiation, vs how well I have been tolerating chemo . . .
(Knock on wood) If needed, I may opt for more chemo instead.
Of course, it depends on the scan.
Yes, I have been reading . . .

Bullfrog had his dr appointment this morning--"picture of health".
Well, that makes one of us . . .
I don't quite feel like crap--just crap-ish. Mostly a good thing.
This afternoon we see a SHIP rep to find our best Medicare part D supplement.
We do this every year--the one year we didn't, we got screwed.

Well, Monday morning is my 2nd PET scan.
This will determine how effective my two rounds of chemo have been.
The kicker is the prep for the procedure.
I have to go 24 hours without carbs, or caffeine.
Caffeine--no problem. No carbs--on Halloween!
Yeah, I will live . . .
I hope!
