Anyone in DFW area find a DME with Airsense 11?

Post by gosman » Fri Oct 22, 2021 4:00 pm

My regular DME (Rotech Healthcare) is just now fulfilling April orders here at the end of Oct, 2021!!! Anyone find a better DME that has the Airsense 11 in stock?

You might want to ask Palerider, who lives there.

or perhaps palerider will see the thread topic and pop in to answer!

Palerider has never bought anything from any brick and mortar DME that I am aware of.
Totally done all his therapy on his own.
I don't think he has any on speed dial.

Besides even if he did and someone wanted to use insurance there's no guarantee that the DME would be in network anyway.
If using insurance...first get a list of in network providers and start calling them.
If not using insurance ....go through the phone book and start calling.

I have excellent insurance. So no worries about that!

Julie's just being a troll, pay no attention.

I, of course, wouldn't have any idea what the stocking situation at any vendor would be.

I *have* bought a couple hoses and a few other little things from a couple online DMEs, but nothing from any 'in person' one, (except for a wheelchair).

Well what about an on-line DME that takes prescriptions? Any have the AirSense 11 in stock? My famous S9 is still doing well, but it is on it's last legs!

Did you mean would file your insurance for you and not ask you to pay for it up front?
All the online DMEs will take prescriptions but not so many of them will work in network with your insurance.

And from the last I saw....not many of the online DMEs even have the AirSense 11...and the couple I saw the other day...the prices would give most of us a heart attack.
One was 1299 I think it was and the other was 1500. They didn't file insurance though. They did like cpap.com.

Lots of AirSense 10 machines still available but the AirSense 11 is hard to find. It really hasn't been out in the market all that long for one thing and ResMed has said they are still producing the AirSense 10 models.

Since Resmed is still making new Airsense 10 machines,
the Autoset and Autoset for her are excellent instruments.
The supply and demand mess is not likely to end soon.
Waiting to treat your apnea is unhealthy--and could put you in a box.

Have you tried Texas Home Medical? 214-824-3688 ask for Collin. He's the manager.
I don't know if they have any 11's but they've been very good to me.
