A new finding

Post by Juggsy75 » Mon Sep 13, 2021 11:36 am

So I’ve put some weight on and my ahi bobs from 1 to 3, two week ago my wife tested positive for covid, so with her in quarantine in the bedroom, I had to sleep on sofa, now using the cushions on sofa my ahi was never above one…… after I was allowed back in bedroom and bed pillows it was back to 1.5- 3….. so I took sofa cushions up, right enough last four nights have been below 0.4 each night………. Can pillows really make a difference🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

first, sorry about your wife. i hope she recovers quickly and doesn't infect you.

second, yup. referred to as positional therapy, i believe. some people find marked improvement with just the tiniest changes like that. also, people have found improvement with a wedge to help incline them slightly while they sleep.

so, good job, you, in finding a simple thing that simply works!

Thank you, luckily she’s had both jabs so only really felt like she had a heavy cold, although she’s still a little tired and her taste isn’t fully back she’s now fine.

I always liked big puffy bed pillows but now I’m sleeping on what look like pancakes, but seems to be doing the trick

Ditto everything Zonker wrote. Are the sofa cushions higher or lower? Firmer or softer? I'm curious.

Oh, just saw your post! So flatter is better for you. I think that's not uncommon.

oh that's good news. it helps to confirm what i've heard and read, that if you are fully vaccinated, this is what can be expected if you become infected.

are those pillows firmer than your bed pillows?

different angle?

and so on.

just curious.
