Please bear with me for another day. I don't know why the Dreamports are not staying on correctly.

Could you post last night's chart, first doing two things:

* Turn off the calendar by clicking the triangle next to today's date.

* Squeeze in the following graphs:

Events
Flow rate
Pressure
Leaks
Flow limitations
Snores.

You can squeeze them into a single screen shot by grabbing the horizontal gray bars that separate them and pushing them up a little.
All of a sudden, I am having trouble with leaks using bleeps since I set enabled EPR (to 1). That is why the delay. I think the EPR might be causing the leaks. I wake up hearing the leaks and can find them from some spot on the sticky pad of the bleeps. The leak is not there during ramp up and when I fall asleep. Below are. the OSCAR graphs for last night. In the last part of the graphs, there is no EPR, since I shut it off.

One thing I can tell you, despite me getting less sleep on several of the last few nights, I am feeling so much better with EPR. When I wake up, even in the middle of the night, I feel a tingly sensation in my arms and legs - a good tingly sensation. Throughout the day, I am feeling so much less tired than previously. Do you have any thoughts?

Be more aggressive with the skin prep on your nose so that the adhesive will stick better.

I will try, but I've been pretty aggressive - was face with Neutrogena soap and water, towel dry, wipe all aspects of the outside of the nose with the bleep preps. I keep positioning the adhesive part differently on my nose in response to where the leak is, and the leak then appears in another spot.

Neutrogena soap
See what's inside:

Triethanolamine, TEA Stearate, Sodium Tallowate, Glycerin, Sodium Cocoate, Water, Sodium Ricinoleate, Sodium Oleate, Cocamide MEA, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Fragrance, Sodium Stearate, BHT, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Trisodium HEDTA, Sodium Metabisulfite

Sounds kind of oily. Might use something else, just on nose.

I use Lava soap.

I worked in the oilfield, got oil on me pretty often, so I knew it would work.

I used the Lava soap last night. It worked well. Thank you. Pugsy. I did end up with a small leak, but it was probably due to not-so-perfect placement. Below is my OSCAR data:

If you are wanting Pugsy to take a look at your data, it will help to take her quote and add it to your post (like I did yours on this one).
It will alert her as to your post. (if that makes any sense :D) Sometimes one gets lost in the shuffle.

Lava soap is good, but take a look at its ingredients. I think the pumice is key.

I finally got closer to having the Dreamports on correctly. The Lava soap idea helped. I still had a small leak when I woke up in the middle of the night, but I think your EPR idea has been really good for me. I am feeling very positively different in the morning. You can see my latest OSCAR data above. If you have any thoughts, I'd appreciate them. Do you think I should move to an EPR of 2?

I think the peaks and valleys of your leaks look more mouth related than anything, because it's hard to envision the bleep coming loose and resealing itself up over and over again on it's own. Straight up alcohol works great to get the oil off my skin. I use a cotton ball and the skin squeaks...that's when I know it's right. Then dry and apply. Folks at bleep always talks about never using soap of any sort because the ingredients stay behind on the skin and that messes up the tape.

You are probably right. I never looked at the ingredients. I just used it for many years to remove oil and grease
from my hands and any where else that got oily. :D

I also do not think keeping the skin moist and creamy is a priority in the manufacture of Lava soap.

It just works for me.

APPLYING YOUR DREAMPORTS CORRECTLY EVERY TIMEAPPLYING THE DREAMPORTSThe fi rst step to applying your DreamPorts is to thoroughly clean the nose area (sides and base of your nose, and the
entire nostril area), with a DreamPrep wipe or another astringent like an alcohol prep to completely remove all oils,
makeup, and dirt. It is the most important part of fi tting your interface, and once done correctly will enable you to
easily fi t the DreamPorts consistently. Once your face has properly been cleaned with soap and water or using one of
Bleep’s nightly facial wipes, designed to remove the oils on the skin, you should properly dry your face and skin around
your nose and cheeks. Then you can begin the process of application.
