Probably TMI but that gif reminded of the convo me and husband had earlier. Always tell my husband when he acts up I'll just have to replace him with Sam Elliott. Older men are just set in their ways.
i didn't think of this until long after i posted my other response.

was watching a tv show from, i think, around 1968. judd for the defense. and who should appear, in a solid guest star slot, but sam elliot! i love it when i glimpse known stars in their early roles!

oh. just checked imdb.com. it was 1969 and it was his first credited appearance!

Anyone ever have a smell when the humidifier runs out of water during the night?
now, i haven't personally. i run out of water but don't smell anything.

but others have and i think, iirc, it's actually slightly burning plastic??

or i could be dead wrong.

someone will be along....

I've also seen the post about tap water. My grandma uses tap water but she's on city water. We have a well. Not hard water. Taste a lot better than her city water. I know its free but I don't know if I want to go through the build up.
then you prolly saw my opinion. that is, my laziness (cleaning the tank) overcomes my cheapness at buying water.

but you do you.

Not really worried about this just curious. Haven't checked my sd card in 8 days and noticed I had 3 nights where my ahi went over 4? Any reason why it would spike? I'm sleeping fine not getting up to go to the bathroom much anymore. Husband is happy that I sleep soundly and don't flop around like a flounder anymore. I think things are good.

Hi - looks pretty good on paper, if a bit high, and I think Pugsy would be best to comment on the flow rate, as I'm not as knowledgeable as she is there to know if it's any problem. Are you feeling ok, or ?

Sometimes there are one-off glitches with no particular answer or reason, so unless P. says something and unless the trend continues, I wouldn't worry.

In the time frame 2:00-3:00, 6:00-6:45 and 7:45-830, your machine's pressure is on the rise, but it's just not getting there fast enough to address the OAs.

Consider increasing your minimum a bit to give it a little more of a head start. Say 11.

Also, ensure your Response is set to Standard and not Soft.

Yes I'm feeling fine. Was just curious because it wasn't the first night that I saw it went a little over four. I'll keep a eye on it. Thank you

And where is this Response? Is it called that? In the machine settings?

Thank you. I'll do some reading on REM. Never would of thought of that being a issue. I'll try increasing it and see what happens.

I can't imagine me not wearing the cpap. I've grown to love it. I like the way I feel. Feels like I'm actually sleeping better. Never noticed how "bad" things were till I started sleeping with it. In the beginning it was a little difficult. This was the best decision I've made in a long time. Hopefully things will stay this way.

Response, is a setting on AirSense 10 AutoSet and AutoSet for Her, that configures how quickly the pressure increases or decreases in response to indicators.

It's only available in AutoSet mode, not AutoSet for Her mode. And wasn't available in early models.

To access, go into Clinical mode:

Tried to upload picture from my phone but says it's too large. All I see on mine is epr, epr type, epr level, climate control and tube temp. Nothing else under comfort. I've looked. Thank you though.

My AHI did go down but I feel like I haven't slept. Who knows..I do know I was sleeping pretty good before I changed the pressure.
