winx needed desperately
winx needed desperately
Please does anyone know where I can buy a winx sleep apnea machine, its the only one that works in my situation and now that they are out of business I am pretty desperate. would appreciate any information on where I can buy a unit.
Re: winx needed desperately
If you tell us why it is the only one 'that works in my situation' you might be surprised at how you might be helped. But a good, very reliable place to try would be Secondwindcpap.com - they really honor their stuff and take care if there's any problem. Are you in the UK by any chance - because the majority here are in the U.S. or Canada and our ideas might not be helpful in referring you to specific outlets though i believe some do ship overseas.

I looked a little online and couldn't find any for sale.
Julie is right though. If you let us know obstacles to traditional CPAP we can probably help here.

Why is it that 'desperate' posters never seem to return for replies?

But if I was desperate, I'd be back within hours at most...

They have been gone for a long time..if CPAP therapy is important to you start looking at Auto CPAP machines. Have you ever determined if the winx is actually eliminating or reducing apnea events? or....are you assuming it is because you are comfortable with the machine? How do you check the data?

Re: winx needed desperately
From what I can see, this machine is very different from an xPAP. I'm not sure why the OP can't use an xPAP.
However, this machine appears to work for the OP, so I can can see why (s)he want that.
Image if you are told that xPAP is completely discontinued and the treatments available are Inspire or some new pill. I still think that most of us would want to stay with xPAP!

Re: winx needed desperately
I think I will make it with my lifetime supply of Remstar "Tanks", seeing as my first has over 17,000 hours on it and it's still working as well as new. I don't have to guess how my XPAPs are treating my Sleep Apnea I can show how in the data. Not a WINX marketing hype...D.H. wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2018 9:38 pmFrom what I can see, this machine is very different from an xPAP. I'm not sure why the OP can't use an xPAP.

Re: winx needed desperately
Winx is gone.
Does anyone know why?
Might it have something to do with the fact we have never seen evidence that it works?
If, indeed, it does.
