SleepyHead Bug

Post by DoriC » Sun Aug 25, 2013 6:00 pm

I sent a bug report to SH but haven't rec'd a reply yet. Has anyone had this problem and solved it? All the data is correct except on the Statistics page, my pressure settings are wrong. Even when I change my settings it still registers the same incorrect setting. My latest settings on the Vpap have been 15/10/3 and the page shows bilevel, 10.4-12.4/2. That is a setting I used when I first started with this machine. It shows the correct serial number on the bottom. It will show up correctly if I change the settings to cpap mode or if I use my PR. It would be nice to see the stats for comparison if I change the settings. I tried a new profile, a new install and all I did was wind up losing some of my old data . Thanks.

Dori, I have the same machine and I have the same sort of bug in SH. The pressure numbers on the Statistics page are not the actual pressures set on my machine. I don't have a clue how to fix it though.

Thank goodness I was here to help!

Are you both using the 0.9.3 version of SH? It should say that in the border of the window at the top.

Arch...it is a known bug in SleepyHead with the VPAPs. I had the same bug...the statistics page machine settings information wasn't reliable.
It still isn't with my BiPap either.
Back in May when I was using the BiPap Pro it shows "Auto" and with CFlex.. which of course there is no CFlex with BiPap mode.
And last 2 months I used both the 660 in of course fixed bilevel mode and last month or so the 760 in auto mode and it all shows Bi Level mode and PS is weird too.

Arch, I'm using SH v 0.9.2-2 (beta) on an iMac desktop running 10.6.8.

I don't think it matters which version of SH we are using.
I am using the latest (fresh install) of the Windows version 0.9.3 and that's what Dori is using to.

I am running SH v0.9.3 with a biPap, System One RemStar BiPAP Pro with Bi-Flex (660P) and with a loaner machine System One RemStar BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex (750P) - both show correctly in the statistics page. It looks correct in the statistics area and in the perscription settings also. For my machine it says mode - Bi-Level, EPAP = 10, IPAP = 14, and PS = 4. All matching my settings.

But, I have never changed my settings. My guess is that SH reads the prescription from the card when the machine is first installed and not all the time.

This is part of my statistics page...
July 1 to July 11...I was using the PR S1 750 machine in AUTO mode with settings..9 EPAP/ IPAP max 20/ PS 4
July 12 to July 31...I was using the PR S1 660 machine in Bilevel mode
Aug 1 till present..I got my 760 machine and starting using it in AUTO mode...a few changes in pressure and Flex got it flagged but it still isn't right

It appears that only the fixed pressure time 7/12 to 7/31 is correct on the statistics page.
SH does sometimes read and record Auto mode but it is sporadic. Quite honestly this is such a mess it is more work than I want to do to try to figure out what is going on to figure out a pattern or whatever.

The ResMed entry....that should be Auto mode and not bilevel and PS was 4 and not 8..EPAP is correct but IPAP isn't.
This gives me a headache trying to sort it out....so I quit trying. It's not that important to me but if someone else wants to try to figure it out...go for it
