Hello from Titrator

Post by Titrator » Wed Dec 08, 2010 1:19 pm

Hi Folks,

It has been a very long time since I last posted on the forum. I now live in TN where I grew up. Hurricane Ike pretty much sold me on coming back to Tennessee. It had been 10 years since I had set foot in the state, but since the rest of my family had left and all had returned. I thought I would join them. There is nothing like being close to your loved ones.

As some of you may remember I had a gastric bypass and my top weight was 400lbs. Well I am down to 220lbs now. That would be 180lbs lost in the last 5 years. I am still amazed at how much smaller I am. I also had nasal surgery to fix an enlarge turbinate as well as a deviated septum. And guess what? I still have sleep apnea. lol My AHI went from 120 down to 8 AHI, but I still use the cpap machine. It goes to show, it isn't always weight that seals your fate. For me it was genetics.

It has been years since I have posted. I hope some of the people that I know are still around.. If you are.. I would love to hear from you... I would also like to make new friends.

Hello Ted,
So glad to hear you are doing well. Yes I think about your success story with the gastric bypass and the changes it made in your life. Glad you let us know that you are still around.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas, and hang out with us here more often. You have much knowledge that can help people who have questions about their therapy. Come join us in chat sometime.

Ted, I joined this forum just before you moved on but I do remember you coming into chat.

It is always good to hear the rest of the story. Soo many come here ask a question then disappear.

Good to hear from you again.

Hi Ted

Congratulations.

You don't know me but I would like to ask you something. Could you please tell me what happened with the pressure? Did it went down or it stayed the same you had at the beginning of treatment?

Thanks

Rosie
