Interesting . . .

I'm the poster girl for using the same mask and Dreamwear nasal cradle for a few YEARS. I can't even remember when I last changed it out, and the nasal cradle was getting kind of floppy and yellowed a bit. So I just ordered a few replacements on Amazon. The parts for a whole mask (headgear, back strap with "arms", and two nasal cradles) cost lest than $50 parted out, with pieces arriving separately over the next week. Back when I had C-pap coverage my co-pay to Crapria was almost that much, plus a lot of time and headaches sorting out their billing errors and delivery mistakes. I don't miss Crapria at all.

Anyway, I had a brand new medium (well, it's been sitting in the package unused for a few years) instead of the small size I usually wear. I didn't think it would work, but it was actually quite comfortable, didn't move around as much when I turned over, and seemed a bit quieter. This may be because the small size was well worn, but the medium seemed to fit OK and not leak at all.

I got the small size nasal cradles for $9.99 each on Amazon, so maybe I will get a couple of mediums too. Then I'll be set for another 5 years or so.

I will be on Medicare in 1 1/2 years, but if Crapria is my only vendor choice I'll just keep paying out of pocket, because not having to deal with them is precious!
