Z1 cricket noise

Post by ichitumi » Wed Mar 22, 2023 2:08 am

Long time no visit. Comforting to see so many familiar names still here.

So I’ve been using a z1 as my travel/spare machine for a few years. It started making a cricket-like chirping noise recently.

Does anyone have this experience? Is my blower/motor dying?

Thanks in advance for any help or insight.

What I would not give for a cricket, happily drowning out my tinnitus.

Unfortunately, I have tinnitus as well.

So I ended up getting into the clinician menu and changed some stuff around, then unplugged everything and reattached back again. The chirping noise stopped afterwards.
