Power Bricks & Heated Tubing for D21 and DS2

Post by WearyOne » Mon Mar 20, 2023 11:00 am

.
I received my new DS2 and a refurbished DS1 as replacements for my System One 60 and System One 50 machines. The replacement machines came with unheated tubing. My husband, on the other hand, received replacements for DS1 machines that did have heated tubing, so he received heated hoses with his replacments. He doesn't like heated tubing, so I"m using his.

Since my refurbished DS1 and new DS2 came with standard tubing, do I need to use a different power brick with either of these machines when using heating tubing? My husband's old DS1 has a power brick that says 80W on it. His new DS2 that came with a heated hose does not have one with *80W" on it. And I didn't see anything in the DS2 manual about needing anything different, but I might have missed something. (My old S1-60 also needed a different one with heated tubing.)

Hope this makes sense. Thanks!
