Odd Looking Flow Rate Chart in OSCAR

Post by cpapnewbie18 » Sat Dec 31, 2022 11:44 am

About 6 months ago, I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea, with something around 8 events per hour (mainly hypopneas not apneas). While the diagnosis was mild, the symptoms are moderate (sleepiness, morning headaches, memory issues, etc.).

I've been using a Resmed Airsense 10 since then to very slight success (with symptoms ever so slightly improved from before). I decided to start reviewing my data on OSCAR, and I've found an odd looking flow rate chart (with lots of double peaks and very few "normal" looking breaths). Plus, these "double peaks" are often accompanied by what appear to be awakenings. So, I was wondering whether anyone has any idea what exactly is going on here.

This pattern has persisted despite many different pressure settings (4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14). It is really possible I require a pressure even higher than 14? I'd be more than happy to attach more information from OSCAR, but OSCAR hasn't marked these as hyponeas or awakenings (my supposed AHI is sub 1).

Thanks!
