Installed OSCAR - What now??

Post by JoyD. » Thu Nov 03, 2022 12:49 pm

I "think" I just installed OSCAR to my Apple MacBook Air laptop . . . I see the OSCAR icon in my Finder's Apps folder & I clicked on it, holding down "control". HOWEVER, I was never asked where to store my data.

What I DO see is a page with OSCAR 1.4.0 at the very top. And the tabs under that say: "Profile - Ventilator Brand - Ventilator Model - Other Data - Last imported - Name". There is a note saying: "You must create a profile".

Have I, in fact, successfully installed OSCAR? And where do I go to get instructions for where to go from here (creating a profile, etc etc)?

At what point do I use my AirSense 10's SD Card? Do I need a "card reader" to transfer the information from my SD Card to OSCAR?

Can anyone help me get started, or can someone direct me to some detailed instructions?

Thanks so much,
Joy

Thank you Zonker. I finally found the help I needed from your direction.

One question I cannot find the answer to is whether the "SDHC card" in a ResMed AirSense 10 machine is compatible with the Apple USB-C to SD Card Reader, or if it needs an adapter?

Thanks,
Joy

If it fits, it works.
