rather than a chinstrap, i'd recommend a firm foam cervical collar. here's an example-https://www.amazon.com/Vive-Neck-Brace- ... r_hp_atf_m

or at your local drugstore. should be in the aisle where canes, bedpans and such are kept. the ones on amazon come in different sizes (the height). i use 4" but it's mostly 3" at the local store.

good luck!

trial and error. i started out with a 3" that i bought at a drugstore. complained here on the forum that it didn't work as well as i'd thought. chicagogranny let me know there was a 4", only available online, like the example i gave above.

that worked for me!

now, do bear in mind that the collar is going to soften up over time meaning that your jaw will drop. usually mine last about 10-12 weeks.

just btw, i use the collar in conjunction with scuncis.(hairbands) got that from a forum member too. link to his post-
viewtopic.php?p=1089718&f=1&t=112758&p= ... s#p1086296

together, they let me sleep with no leaks and actually reduced my ahi by 1.

Thanks Zonk!

I will order the 4” and return if it is too big (doubtful!).

I have been using the REsMed P10 for years until last week. Have not been feeling my best so I connected with Jason (some know him as Lanky Lefty) who after about 2 weeks got me pretty straightened out. My pressure went from 8 to now 13. Feeling much better…but oh the mouth leaks!!! I am not a mouth breather but do know my mouth will “sag” during REM sleep. Haven’t really followed my treatment on Oscar until recently. Started using the Polygrip Adhesive strips to keep my mouth shut…would work for about half the night then it was leak city. Decided to try the REsMed Airfit F30i and have gravitated quite well…most of my leaks are under control but I want a little more —- so the collar I will give a shot too!

Thanks for your help! Will report back once I get it and try it out!
