Compliance

Post by TerriT908 » Sat Oct 16, 2021 9:20 am

My AHI is 1.8 my compliance report reads 72.3% (53 of 73) days. I only got a 90 day DOT card. Is that right?

Sounds about right though I don't know all the particulars with DOT regulations but you are very borderline compliant by industry standards (I think DOT requires 70%) and you need to be having a chat with your employer and the DOT doctor signing off on your DOT card.

DOT medical card holding cpap users have some very special requirements for compliance and it's an all the time compliance requirement. You have to be able to prove compliance as long as you are on the road and every day you are on the road.

It's the hours of use they look at for meeting compliance requirements...not so much the AHI.
