Maybe they need to be adjusted now. :D Are you reviewing your daily AHI and leak level that shows on the machine display?
[/quote]
I am reviewing them daily. I am getting good numbers generally…AHI between 2 and 4, leaks usually less than 12L/min. I am going to install OSCAR today and hopefully get a lot more data than my airsense 11 gives me….I only get time used, leaks, AHI, Total AI and CI. No other report settings with this machine…not even in the clinical menu.

What do you suggest in terms of adjustments? I was thinking of starting off with changing the AutoSet to Standard versus Soft.

If you mean changing this setting when you switch to a nasal mask, I wouldn't do it. Standard practice is to change only one variable at a time. If two are changed and the results are different, you likely won't know which of the two variables caused the different results.

I would leave the machine settings the same when starting the new mask. The settings can be changed later if they prove to be suboptimal.

BTW, it is sometimes said that a higher pressure is needed with a FFM versus a nasal mask. Actually, not a change in mask, but mouth-breathing may result in higher pressure needs. In humans, when the mouth opens, the mandible moves backward slightly. This tends to narrow the airway.

These are good results for a newbie (and many oldies :D ). I wouldn't change any settings at this point. OSCAR may tell us more.

What graphs should I have up on OSCAR for posting on this forum? I see there are many that I can scroll through on OSCAR.

Hello all, these screenshots are from last nights sleep. I see the numbers are good, but I am not quite confident in how to read the graphs. I’ve been reading from the help page but still am not quite sure how to interpret the graphs. Any insight is appreciated.

Can you be more specific about what you don't understand?

I’m not sure how to read/interpret the AHI graph, Minute vent, Insp. Time, Exp. Time.

And the pressure graph, I assume inhale and exhale pressures?

The AHI graph is useless,
MV is your average total respiration volume over a minute.
Exp time, how long your exhalation is

Ignore all of them.

Yes.

As explained in the "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" post at the top of the forum, we only need six graphs 99% of the time.

flags
flow rate
pressure (not mask pressure)
leaks
snores
flow limitation.

Not sure how my attachments are not the recommended format. According what I read on the link provided, the format is png image file and that is what my images are. I took screenshots directly from the Take Screenshot option on Oscar, I saved the image to my desktop and just changed the file name to the date of the data. I then used the attachment option in the forum page to attach the pictures to my post. The only thing I did notice was that when they attached to the post, they attached as one large image versus the three individual images I attached while creating g the post.
