air sense 10 water chamber

Post by jandis171 » Wed Oct 06, 2021 2:46 am

I am sure that my ResMed Air Sense 10 showed a message that the water chamber was due for replacement - or did I dream it.

I would think that there are more interesting things to dream about, but, It's possible...there are settings for "reminders". It's in your clinical menu.

My preferred setting is "off".
My hands, eyes, and nose tell me all I need to know when I need new stuff.

your DME can set reminders in there that encourage you to throw away perfectly good things.

Unless your water chamber is leaking, it does not need to be replaced.

Maybe that reminder was for me!

I've been using the same water chamber for 5 years (with a cleaning about once a month or so).
