The Leak reading is 7L/min.
Can't type detailed explanation but that 7 is extremely good 95% number.
At or below 7 L/min for 95% of the night. Pretty much not much excess leak at all.
Cool, thanks!

If I can eliminate those short periods of high pressure that woke me up, I will be golden.

When you're able, try posting an Oscar daily chart. Maybe we can see what's going on with the pressures that are bothering you.

Awesome. Probably Tuesday.

Thanks!

As it turns out, last night was the worst yet. (All previous were actually pretty good)
Is this a good way to share Oscar data?

The best way to post a chart is to take a screenshot and upload it, after you've formatted the chart this way:

Include the left panel with the calendar turned off (click on the triangle next to today's date)

Fit the following graphs into one screen shot:

Events
Flow rate
Pressure
Leaks
Flow limitations
Snores.

You can scrunch graphs by grabbing the gray bars that separate them and pushing them up a little.

No need to include other graphs, unless someone asks to see them.

When you post the screenshot, could you also explain whether the night was worse in how you felt during the night (or today) or just in terms of the numbers?

OK, hope this works.

Last night was "worst" with more times that the pressure got so high it seems to blow the mask right off my face, which obviously wakes me up. I finally shut it off for awhile around 2:30AM. When I restarted, it seemed good again, but then woke me up multiple times later. It seemed I could "reset" it by just breathing heavy or tossing/turning, but not always.

Please let me know if I should change anything about the screenshot or provide more.
Thanks!

try changing max PS down from 20 to 15.

Are you on ASV for some sort of central apnea problem?

This reminds me, I want to check against the settings of previous machine, maybe max PS was lower there, too.
I know the Dr specified lower min PS, from 6 to 5.....and I notice that when first starting

Yes, I have CSA. No OSA at all, as far as I know

Thanks!

Ah, settings quite different.
The Dr mentioned "broadening" the initial settings as well as reducing the lower min (which I got wrong, it was actually from 5 to 4)

The PS high rapid burst is what is designed to force you to breathe when you aren't breathing do to central apneas.
Per your statistics it looks like the machine was giving the full 20 PS...
10 to 12 PS will normally be sufficient though. We don't want to restrict PS too much.... but we do have some room to limit it so it isn't such a big burst to the point it blows the mask across the room.

Edit: PS max was 10 on the old machine....big difference.

You could try that as well. My 15 suggestion was a guess to be honest.

Do take Pugsy's advice and lower the maximum PS. Her guesses are much better than most people's certitudes, so you might want to try a max PS of 15 tonight to see how that goes. As she notes, it would still be a "broadening" of your settings on the PR machine.

Thank you both.

I will try changing just that one variable max PS to 15 tonight.

Pugsy, the straps kept the mask from being blown across the room, but not by much!!

Will report out in the morning......

By the way, when I made that change I noticed that the current setting, "20," is the highest it can be.
Also, changes can be made to 0.2 precision. Seems odd to me that, for example, 15.0 would really be much different from 15.2
Or, would it??

I'm starting tonight at 15.0 - If the mask i's getting blown off my face again, I will likely try a change to 10.0 in the middle of the night. Hopefully won't come to that......

About the small increments—they can be useful.

For one thing, they enable you to make changes gradually, which can help your body adapt.

And I, for example, get too much air in my belly with IPAP of 5.2 but do fine with 5.0. Other people have leak problems that show up at a given setting but not at a setting of .2 less.

.2 is pretty imperceptible especially at higher pressures. (there's more percentage difference in 5 vs 5.2 compared to 15 vs 15.2) but if someone wants to do 15.2, they can :)
