On Friday, the FCC issued approval for the touchless device, which would use radar sensors to track sleep. In its request, Amazon said the device "could help improve consumers' awareness and management of sleep hygiene."
I'm all for it. Now, if they can just get the device to diagnose sleep-disordered breathing. Too many go for too long before seeking diagnosis and treatment.

Low cost screening?
Isn't there something about not killing a goose?
Oh, wait.
If diagnosis is cheap enough, maybe the masses won't be scared away.

I am that person who walked by the Alexa display at B3, and shouted,

You've heard of the phrase you can lead a horse to water.... well doubtful any of those who go too long are going to have anything to do with this device. I know it won't be in our bedroom.

This could be really helpful to people who can't afford sleep studies.
Just as long as it doesn't become always on by default.
