Hello All,

Post by RipVW » Thu Dec 17, 2020 3:03 pm

Just checking in, and I encourage all new to the forum to visit the valuable links available here, When I started CPAP many years ago, I was clueless—but I figured it out after hearing advice from many of our major contributors. Their advice saved my life, helping me find the right machine and learning to understand that data those machines produce. Now, after 16 years on APAP, my typical daily stats indicate 0 to 1.1 on the hypopnea index with no mask leaks! And, at my advanced age (68) I'm having no sleep apnea issues (of course I also changed my lifestyle, started exercising 6 days/week to include 3 mi per day doing cardio on my elliptical + 20 min of strength training. So hard, takes so much work, but ultimately extends our life as we deal with sleep apnea!

Wishing you all Happy Holidays, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Best,

If you haven't already placed this in the success stories thread (near top of index page), you might want to consider it.
