Dreamstation Internal Replacement Parts

Post by Go3Team » Thu Jan 17, 2019 9:23 am

I've inherited a Dreamstation that my dad had before he passed away late last year. It was showing an incorrect power adapter error when I first got it. I noticed some rust around the power connection and cleaned it up a little. It seemed to work for a bit, but it's really corroded. I disassembled the unit to see if I could clean it further, but it looks like I might have to try and find a replacement for it. I found a service manual for it (https://www.westcaremedical.com/wp-cont ... Manual.pdf) and it appears it can be replaced, although I can't find any sources for it online.

The part number on the tag shows 1118463, and the service manual lists it as 1121554.

Anyone know where I can get this part?

Thanks.

sure looks like this...https://www.ebay.com/p/AC-DC-Power-Jack ... 107&chn=ps
No, no it doesn't.

though the OP could cut the connector off of that one and solder it to the wire he has.

I have the same issue. I'm looking at this part available at Mouser Electronics. It will require some soldering and I'll need to get the wires matched to the right part of the jack.

Has anyone managed to find this part?
I have the same problem and it's impossible to find this power socket....
Is there a supplier that sells replacement parts for the Philips Respironics machines?

Thanks!
Simon

I did contact acbio, but unfortunately they do not sell parts.
I ended up finding a used one on eBay.

Actually, they used to sell "some" parts. I purchased some "outlet port kits" from them in 2010 for a very reasonable price.
But, they were for some of the old Legacy models and maybe they weren't quite as particular back then.

The part correctly listed previously in a post is in the service manual under that number - 1121554 as a "DC Power Cable".

Anyone familiar with this supplier? From the service manual part number and the one that was posted I found this............
https://www.medexsupply.com/diagnostic- ... 04522.html

They have other Respironics/DreamStation parts and supplies as well.

Yes. I purchased some Sleep Link cables (for the old Legacy models) from them back in early 2010.

And, it appears that they still have them

On a side note, when I purchased those cables it was from www.medplususa.com
Sometime after that, they were acquired by Medex Supply.......so if you go to www.medplususa.com it comes up to the link for MedexSupply.com
