Sorry, I took so long to post a reply after advice. Yes EX start was on. Much better with higher pressure limit, 8.0 to 9.0. Improved and I felt as though I slept better. Question though. It seems as I always was at the max of 8.0 during the night. Now at the high limit at 9.0, I don't even max out at 8.0. Just learning and would appreciate any help. ( Well I see I get at 8.0 toward the end)

Glad to hear this.

You slept less than six hours. Maybe the alarm clock limited you. On the other hand, if you just couldn't sleep any longer, this may improve as you get more accustomed to sleeping with CPAP.

You make a good observation.

Pressure needs will vary from night to night. That's one reason APAPs are so popular. Why do the needs vary from night to night? It could be what happened during the day - level of activity, stress levels, what was eaten at what time, exposure to allergens causing some nasal congestion, etc.

A big potential factor is what positions you slept in. Typically, backsleeping requires more pressure than side or stomach.

You are starting to get a good grasp of how to read your charts. I would watch it for a few nights and see how things go.

Thanks ChicagoGranny.
I find this stuff fascinating. I am really trying to learn about what’s going on.
I was reading a good book last night and staying up way too late trying to finish. Alarm was early this morning! Will try and finish book early and get more rest.
Thanks again to all!
