I think things (me anyway) are going downhill now.....

OK, one more:

One more, Once

"CPAPTALK.COM: the Informative Forum of Happy Hoseheads"

I still like my initial one best, but.....

Howdy,

Right now these are our company slogans:

CPAP.com: The Web's Most Popular CPAP Store!

CPAPtalk.com: CPAP and Sleep Apnea Discussion Forum

I've seen a lot of funny stuff and some serious stuff too. I appreciate all the submissions and I hope more keep coming in.

Last night I was thinking in the shower (don't ask me why, but I get a lot of ideas while sitting under warm water) and I was thinking that our mix of funny/serious/health oriented was too complex to share in a few words unless those words tied into a theme or event that was widely known. I still don't know what the tie in for CPAPtalk.com is, but for CPAP.com I was thinking:

CPAP.com: Good News For CPAP Users

Why? Its a strech but you can read this in two ways:

1. Good News, CPAP Users now have a cost effective and customer focused option for CPAP use.

2. Good News, this is what many call the teachings of Jesus. Christian or not, "The Good News" has come to mean a shift to something better, something more pure and good, something that has a common sense rightness to it.

My questions and request for feedback relating to this suggestion follow:

1. The obvious objection: Did he just compare CPAP.com to the teachings of Jesus? Thats nuts. Who does this guy think he is?

2. Is "The Good News" as widely known as I think it is?

3. Is 'CPAP User' the best mass market term?

I welcome suggestions or variations. Is there a better theme to tap into to explain what CPAP.com is? What is CPAPtalk.com's theme - I think more funny/support and less 'Good News'?

Johnny

That is absolutely perfect! Short, sweet, descriptive and not confusing! To sum it up....very professional!

While I was helping my mother figure out how to wear the hydrid, she suggested "up your nose with a rubber hose".

1. "Good News" is just that, and not "Bad News" as far as I'm concerned, and that's how I react when I see or hear the term.

3. The first words one hears from a doctor is "Sleep Apnea".
The first words heard from a DME are CPAP, mask, sleep study results (in general terms)
One doesn't become a "CPAP USER" until it "may" be too late to get the 'preliminary' information they may need to 'deal with' the people with whom they've already come in contact.

All in my humble opinion of course.
