Tons of air in stomach last night. Not just little burps but kegstandesque belches.
I didn't make any changes last night.
But it's quite clear that turning off the EPR instigated it as it didn't happen once in the first month.
I liked EPR too as it felt way more comfortable.
It didn't make any difference to my CA's so EPR is going back on.

Yes, that's interesting. A zoom does show they are close and sometimes match exactly.
I'm not sure what's going on there. I can see how a mask leak would lead to an effective loss of pressure and the airway collapses.
But these are centrals, which are not due to a collapsed airway.
And these leaks are quite small. Generally, the one that coincide with my CA's are 6 or less.
I sometimes leak around the bridge of my nose sometimes and thus into my eyes. Maybe leaks are disturbing my sleep and initiating events.

I have started shaving BEFORE bed to minimize leaks.

I have not read through all this thread. Yet. If someone suggested that if it is easily affordable to you. That you should go for an over night sleep titration to qualify for a Bi Level machine, then that would be good for you. Altho, if you can afford it, and your complex sleep apnea is complex enough, your doc might want to go for a Vent, or something that senses Centrals and accommodates that. Bi Level as well as two different air pressures for inhale and exhale. It is a bit different than EPR in that a bi Level machine the definition between the inhale and exhale is five not three. I think the shape of the air pressure is different as well, which is why it is more comfortable.

Another way to put that. I got completely rid of severe Aerophagia by using a bi-level machine. As well as much of my GERD went away as well. A blessing for sure.

Wow thanks for starting this thread. I just started using the nasal mask which felt like it was pumping air right into my stomach. Changed EPR from 1 to 2 last night and it made all the difference. Didn't see any difference in CA's either and they were numerous when I had EPR 3 with full face mask.

Froggy, *snort* you're so weird! I LOVE YA!

Greg, what will you use for a mattress? Memory foam? A futon mattress? Looks useful.

Tatooed Lady I have a Comfortaire cc 800 king mattress. It is an adjustable air mattress made but select comfort. It has foam protection pad under the air chambers a 2" memory foam support over the air chambers and a 3 1/4 " pillow top

How are the leaks doing? If they are going down, too, even better.
