Hi, my name is Don and I was diagnosed with OSA about a month ago. I was told I was moderate but close to severe. I just started CPAP two night ago. I was given a Fisher Paykel HC234 with Fisher Flexfit HC431 headgear. I think it will take awhile for me and my family to adjust to this new look. I will look over the FAQ section so as not to ask you too many boring newbie questions. I think my mask fits ok but the bridge of my nose is red and sore. I tseems to be a preassure point. Well thanks for being here and have a great day,
Don

Welcome, My mask took the skin off the first night, I found out it didn't have to be so tight. Getting everything adjusted right is a little hard but it will work just don't give up.

Your family will adjust fine, and as you feel better you will be able to put up with the day to day strains better. Jim

The adjustment can take a while. Don't be afraid to try a few masks. If you have soreness on the bridge of your nose, you might want to try the Swift or the Aura (my personal favorite). Good luck!
