Picked up a Resmed Quattro FF Mask today.

Post by pratzert » Thu Oct 28, 2010 4:55 pm

OK.... after the mysterious delivery of a cheapo FF Mask to my house from Apria that NO ONE ordered, I took that pc of garbage to the Local Crapria office and asked them to explain how it was that I received a mask that no one ordered ?

As I suspected, all I got from the staff was a big.... "DUH... I dunno ."

I insisted they take it back and be sure to credit my "account". I then told them I had not even come in yet to be fitted for a mask. They instructed me to "sign-in" and take a seat.

40 minutes later.... a person dressed in scrubs came out of a room and called my name.

The only thing this person said was "My name is Bob." Oh... Ok Bob.....I wonder if he was some sort of Tech, or a secretary, or the janitor... I don't know. Pretty unprofessional not to give his position... especially if he is going to "take care of me." Ooo.... I think I just felt a pucker.......

So "Bob" takes me into a junked up room with shelves which had an assortment of CPAP masks and as I sat down I told "Bob" that i was there to be fitted for a Resmed Quattro FF Mask. I made sure he heard me when I said I wanted a Resmed Quattro FF Mask.

"Bob" looked around for a minute or two and then located the mask on one of the shelves and opened it up and told me to hold it up to my face.

I did what he instructed. He just looked at me and I asked "Shouldn't I hook up the straps?"...
"Oh...Ya he said."

I hooked up the straps and he looked at me and said "OK... that's the right size. You're all set and you can go."

HUH ? What's up with this I thought. No instructions on the proper adjustment, no instructions on the method to clean it properly... no nothing.

Considering it I was dealing with Crapria... I just took it in stride and left.

AT least I did get the mask I went there to get... but I sure didn't get anything else in the way of help.

I'll let you know how I do with the new mask... but I am looking forward to a better nights sleep with the FF Mask.

Sounds like my experience with Apria in Concord, ca...

BTW... I love my new Resmed Quattro FF mask. Just got the right size fitting one this week. It rocks!
