I never wake up suffocating and gasping on cpap, though I did before.

that is a thought O, I have noticed that the pressure does not die down when I exhale and it use to, it just blows steady unless I take it off and then it idles way down. It has 4000 hours on it, is that a lot? I was on the Remstar set at 7 when I started up again. I won't be home until monday but I will slowly bump up the Remstar at your suggestion. Thanks, Tansey
Hi Tansey! Welcome to the forum. Well it looks like I must be in the minority, but I think you need another sleep study, regardless of not having insurance. There are just too many medical reasons for other things that could be wrong, and I, for one, would not play around with this myself, but get to the sleep doc. Sorry!
