When setting an APAP to work as CPAP . . .

do you set the pressure to the 95% number from the APAP data history or a little higher/lower?

If switching from APAP to CPAP mode, I would set my pressure at the number indicated as "Average Device Pressure <= 90% of Time." Then, I'd monitor my data reports and adjust pressure upward if seeing events that were long-lasting or not responding to the lower pressure. But, that's just my understanding--hoping some of our wise old timers will jump in here for a definitive answer to your question.

Yes.
But.

I have discovered that I just can't handle the 90% pressure full time, and I do better at a slightly lower pressure, with a very very narrow range.

So, try the 90%, and if that doesn't work, take a bottom range slightly less than that (0.5 or 1 less).

You should set it a little higher, to cover the 5% of the time you were at higher than the 95% pressure when on APAP.

Cheers,

Bill

HI,

You might want to tell more on the following....

90% Auto CPAP Pressure=?
Average Auto CPAP =?
NR=?
FL=?
OA=?
H=?
VS=?
Total AHI=?
Large Leak=?
Average Leak=?

Most like you need 95%tile to cover the sudden surge of peak OSA in some case.
