Re: data transmit fee

I am sorry these would be very stupid questions for many people here. I am using Airsense 11 and I am currently in JPN. 1. How does App my air get the data? CPAP device --- App my air or CPAP device -- Cloud --- App my air 2. How to check the data transmit happened or not? 3. Who is paying the data...

Re: Chinstrap ID

Isn't that one of those "Ultimate Chinstraps"? I never used one but did chat with Russ (inventor) about it a while back. As the good Froggy said, it looks like something Hannibal Lecter would wear. https://sleepapneasolutionsinc.com/?page_id=173#!/The-Ultimate-Chinstrap-Sleep-Apnea/p/4422852/categor...

I may have missed it, but could you post some complete OSCAR graphs as described here? https://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=158560 . Those that divine truth from OSCAR graphs will ask for it. Mainly looking for: Events Flow rate Pressure (ResMed users..you have 2 pressure graphs...we don't need ...

Re: bleep changed?

Magnets are cool. Just remember that rare earth magnets (if those are used) are dangerous, and should be kept away from children. Disposal/recycling is tantamount--never leave them lying around. Who doesn't let their kids play with some yttrium and cobalt? How else can they learn to make homemade X...

Re: bleep changed?

I reached out and he said they’re not discontinuing it. Where was the rumor stating they are? How did he think people are starting rumors about that? Nature abhors a vacuum. I think this is their first new product since the original design, so the lesson learned is to address the life cycle of earl...

Re: New member - First night using Oscar

I find it interesting that your leak median appears consistent at ~14, as I have one that is consistent at 7 (but only on one machine). Completely different machine and mask, but the similarity is remarkable. I’ve tested everything (mask, hose, connections, machine) for leaks, but nothing shows any ...

Is AAST a reliable source for OSA information / treatment / scoring ?
What leads you to consider that they are not?

Re: bleep changed?

So there are really 2 different versions and the eclipse is the new one. Got it. I'm also wondering what motivated them to change it. Sometimes changes are good and sometimes not. Some folks with hand challenges have issues with the original DreamPorts (I’m one of them). Stuart and team came up wit...

Re: chin strap for back sleeper to use with bleep

The pain seems to mostly be from nerves around the roots of my teeth and some from the hinge of the jaw, so I am hoping taping around my nostrils will not hurt, although I am amazed how high up into the face the roots of the teeth go. So sorry to hear about your teeth and jaw pain. The Bleep is ama...

Re: bleep changed?

Plenty of threads here on the Bleep Eclipse (new version using magnets) and the original using DreamPorts (snap-on connection).

Any specific questions? You can find the threads from your browser search bar like “site:cpaptalk.com bleep eclipse” or similar entry.

Re: chin strap for back sleeper to use with bleep

Chin straps are hit-or-miss as Granny said. If you ratchet them too tightly you can pull your jaw back, which occludes the airway. I don’t know if a soft cervical collar will help as it uses the weight of your head to hold your mouth closed. Still, it will be worth trying as it has no contact with y...

Re: ResMedAS11 How to Change Cell Carrier?

For those of you who run into this, one of my co-workers used to work on two way radios. He told me to get out the tin foil, leave it plugged in, and wrap it with foil :| . Once it's wrapped with foil, wait an hour or so, then check if it is on a different carrier. I grabbed a piece of Reynolds Wra...

Re: ResMedAS11 How to Change Cell Carrier?

A few random thoughts… You could consider getting a signal booster as they can be purchased online. For example: https://www.signalboosters.com/blog/a-guide-to-our-best-tmobile-signal-boosters/ You can also try making a home-built Faraday cage and seeing if you can force the CPAP to find a different...

Re: In search of leaks

Have you compared the Mask Pressure to Pressure? Brilliant. I never thought of that. I’ve attached recent graphs of pressure and mask pressure. Not quite sure what I should be looking at here.. You also not comparing AHI on one machine to AHI on the other. You are comparing the spare machine and sl...
