I am planning to start at comparable settings to my current APAP which is running at min 20, max 20, EPR 3. Can someone check my math please?...

PS of 4 is what the labs commonly start out with and most people come out of a bilevel titration with PS of 4 or 5. On a rare occasion a little more for some reason or other. My suggestion is start with PS of 4 use auto mode... Minimum EPAP 17 PS of 4 Maximum IPAP 25 See how much a little more IPAP...

I predict you will like the machine. I see no sense in using PS of 3...that's what your EPR is doing. Make use of the machine's special abilities. First time I ever used a bilevel machine...was a fixed bilevel machine and I used 4 PS...and it took me about 5 minutes to say to myself..."you gotta ge...

Oh...it also will have some other comfort settings.....use the factory defaults first and see how you do with them. Most people won't need to change those but if you have trouble getting in sync with the machine rate...then we can change them. When I was using the VAuto S9 I did just fine with thos...
