Most of the people with good news or good experiences about anything will probably not ever post on the internet or join a forum. I would imagine most of what's posted on the internet are bad experiences with concerns and the like. There may be many other great examples of surgery working for folks....

Well here's my 25 pence worth.. Without treatment OSA is a serious 'impairment' that could lead to many serious problems! The use of terms such as 'handicapped' (which has debatable politically incorrect connotations) and 'disabled' or 'disability' is rather harsh. My therapy will never be perfect b...

I bought a Respironics Total Face mask a long time back. I tried it for 2 nights and found out that you need the right kind of thinner shaped face for it to get close to fitting. It's rigid and you have to bend it to get a seal and it is very claustrophobic in there!. The mask seems to to appear muc...

waking up

Hey guys, Well I've tried almost every mask under the sun now and as you might know I have had problems waking up and taking my mask off. I am starting to think that the problem is in the waking up and not the desire to take the mask off. My hybrid is a super fit and comfortable and I even have some...

adjusting pressure on a remstar plus

Can anyone guide me through the procedure for adjusting pressure on a remstar plus w/C-FLEX?

Also I have mailed respironics and asked them to develop a technology that allows me to text message my humidifier if I'm out so its all warmed up at bedtime

You would probably be charged UK duty on it I think and I would have insisted on paying you something for your trouble but thanks for that anyway, for me, "resistance was useless" so I bought one.

Hybrid Mask to the UK

I had previously posted about the imminent arrival of the Hybrid mask in the UK after I was advised that it would be 'any day now' by the Teleflex Medical UK base. This turned out to be what could best be described as total and utter lies , since I found out through the US base that the mask has not...

I hope it's not going to be my future ex-mask,

Yep, I'm still doing it after year with a full face mask, I do it on autopilot because I clearly hate how it feels on my face abit like one of those facehugging aliens from Alien.

Itching to get my hands on a hybrid mask

Crazy or not so crazy CPAP ideas

Some of you will know I've been struggling for a year and try my absolute hardest to be compliant but I'm still doing badly and tried so many things. The oracle 452 was great, but I couldn't stop nose leaks. I'm waiting for the Hybrid to become available in the UK any day but in the mean time... dru...
