Re: Res-Med S9 with Hi humidifier

I have a S9-Hi Res-med unit and a Devilbiss 5 liter concentrator. Is there a heated hose with a built-in adaptor for the 1/4 inch tube that comes from the concentrator. Right now they have sent me a oxygen supply adapter that connects to your mask by your face. Is this the only set-up that you can ...

Re: Second Try at Mouth Tape - Excellent Results

A week ago I posted about the success I had trying Azazar X-style mouth tape. After a few days of success I found the tape was not sufficiently adhering and I returned my purchase. I then purchased 3M Micropore 2” wide tape with a dispenser. Each roll is 10 yards. This tape has excellent all night ...

Re: Lip balm with mouth taping?

I am looking into mouth taping. I read a review of mouth tapes and on one a lady said she was able to use the tape with lip balm. Have any of you been able to use lip balm while using mouth tape? Yes, I use Aquaphor every night with 2" 3M surgical tape. Works fine. The surgical tape works good but ...

I did one for the Airsense 11 last week to counter leakage from a new beard.
I have an aircurve 10 vauto. Both pictures appear to have the humidifier above the max level. If I overfill my tank like that I will get water blown in the hose.

Re: Oxygen concentrator bubble humidifier - can you use with bi-level as well?

Right now I have the ClimateLineAir™ Oxy Heated Tube connected to my AirCurve 10 ST-A bi-level, using a 25ft tubing connection to the concentrator. I use a bubble humidifier during the day when just using the concentrator via nasal cannula. I'm not 24/7 oxygen dependent, but sometimes I do use it d...

Re: Portable Oxygen Concentrator/CPAP

I use a ResMed CPAP machine and am trying to find a continuous flow portable concentrator for travel. I think the only unit maybe the Respironics Simply Go unit but I cannot get a straight answer from anyone if these two units are compatible. The supplier of my CPAP has given me an Inogen one G5 bu...

I have been using the DreamStation 2 for a week. Getting the settings updated and learning how to use the device was simple. I am sleeping better and my numbers are better.

That's great!

Re: Time zone on Airsense 11

Hello all, I just downloaded Oscar and uploaded data from my SD card. I will look through the data in detail, however I did notice that the times indicted in the graphs and the times OSCAR indicated my session started and ended last night did not match the actual times I started and ended therapy. ...

Re: Resmed Airsense 11 - Where to buy ??

I’m in need of a new Apap and wanted the Airsense 11. I normally buy it online but I don’t see it anywhere. Thank you. A simple search and I found this: https://www.theperfectcpap.com/products/resmed-airsense-11-autoset-cpap-machine-auto-cpap-machine-package I know nothing about the place just post...

Re: The rental period is over so I guess I own my machine. Now what?

Thanks everyone. The girl I talked to at BCBS was actually pretty good. I was on with them about another matter and when she asked if there was anything else she could help with I quizzed her about the machine. It sounded like they would take care of it for the 5 years then I get a replacement. I t...

Re: The rental period is over so I guess I own my machine. Now what?

The 10 month rental period my insurance was paying should be over now since it has been about a year. Now what happens? Excellus BCBS tells me nothing, it's mine. I asked what happens if something goes wrong? They tell me it goes to the DME for repair or replacement if it cannot be repaired and in ...

Re: Please help. Machine sometimes cuts out.

About all you can check and maybe do anything about are the power connections either at the power brick or where the machine itself plugs into the power supply. Look for potential loose connections. I've been having a similar problem with my ResMed machine over the past week: leak data off the char...
