Re: Silicone alternatives? and mask woes
You may want to check out the new Bleep Eclipse. Zero leaks, so no constant readjusting of mask during the night or air bothering your eyes; and since there is no headgear, no maskne across your cheeks or funky hair in the morning. I was a beta tester for the Eclipse and loved it. I have used the Bl...

Re: Distilled vs. tap water
HUGE MISTAKE!! I settle myself in bed, attach my mask, and... what is awful smell?! Took me a few minutes to realize it was the tap water. After realization, what did you do? Sleep peacefully the rest of the night? Actually, I tend to wake up frequently so when I woke up the first time and the smel...

Distilled vs. tap water
First, yes I understand tap water is fine in my CPAP, no need to explain that to me. But I am lazy and don't want to descale my humidifier tub so I have always used distilled water. However, two nights ago, I was washing out the humidifier (which I do religiously every couple of months , lazy, ...

Re: Are There Any Decent Travel CPAPs?
Here's a secondary concern that I have... Is it possible to use my existing Mirage FX mask with an Airmini. I'm hearing of adapters that are available as well as "mufflers" and in-line accessories. What could I reasonably expect to do to make an Airmini as quiet as possible? I'm a fairly adept guy ...

Very true! This was one reason I got my AirMini, which is set up EXACTLY like my home machine.

Re: Are There Any Decent Travel CPAPs?
We traveled a fair bit pre-pandemic and are now traveling again. I have an AirMini to travel with, hubby just takes along his home machine. I really like having the (much) smaller machine to travel with. While I do use humidification at home, I find the smaller size a worthwhile trade-off while trav...

Re: Aeroflow regrets
I will say, I tried contacting AeroFlow via their website a couple of years ago and was unsuccessful. I was never able to get a response. HOWEVER, I tried again in June, when preorders for the Bleep Eclipse were available and AeroFlow was listed as an online DME that filed insurance. I called and wa...

Re: bleep changed?
I found out about the original Bleep right about the time I started on CPAP. At that time, it was not yet available but I just KNEW it would solve most if not all of the problems I was having with masks. I tried learning all I could about it and imagine my delight when I discovered Bleep was headqua...

No need for chaperones and it's a bit more detailed. Hmmm.....this will be fixed for the next one. You seem to have developed a fan club.  Yep...a fan club of old women who are old enough to be his mother.   Just because I am old doesn't mean I can't appreciate a f...

Yeah, I'm just going to continue recommending Oscar, the people behind it are honorable, and not just out to make a buck off of apnea sufferers. Well said. And let's also add a word of thanks to the honorable people who created this free forum, which is sponsored by www.cpap.com who sell cpap equip...

Maybe modify the drawer and/or back of an antique nightstand to hold a CPAP?earlvillestu wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 4:24 amA CPAP nightstand would be a great idea. But were I to suggest to my beloved spouse that we put such a thing in our antique-furnished bedroom, I know it would be a very short conversation.

Looking forward to the Eclipse when it comes out! You and me both. Crossing my fingers and knocking on wood but hopefully the first of the pre orders from last summer with SureSeal will be shipping out in 2 or 3 weeks. Production is small right now because every little thing has to be FDA inspect a...

Re: Traveling Overseas Question
If your CPAP is dual-voltage, please do not use a converter. It is one more thing to go wrong and it's totally unneeded. You simply need an adapter (i.e. a "shape changer"), not a converter (i.e. a voltage changer). However, if the power supply is unreliable, you should use a surge suppress built f...

Re: Experimenting with a Resmed AirCurve 10
[*]The on/off button is too small. When you're flailing around in the middle of the night trying to find that button, it can be hard to locate it. Just a thought, could you add one of those little silicone buttons that are used on the back of picture frames or cabinet doors on top of the on/off but...
