Re: New S9 (a few questions)
What does means all those things. Another question; tell me please, when the cpap not work, in stand by mode (not when it is shut down/power is cut off) I noticed that, the unit has a air leak through the mask(almost imperceptible and constant). It is ok like that or something is wrong ? firmware v...

perhaps not, since you opened with "This is going to drive me nuts not knowing my nightly readings."JMyers wrote:I guess I am not making myself clear. I don't want data on multiple cards.
when you state the wrong problem, you'll get the wrong answers.

Re: leak rate and flow limitation numbers disappear in SH
Hey Pugsy, Guess its possible for med to be zero... I have deleted the memory card coz when using sleepyhead the timing of all the sleep segments appear jumbled up sometimes (not in chronological order)...will monitor and see what happens. AHI is varying below 3 generally so all is well. Thanks for...

Re: What is the CM relief when using aflex 1, 2, and 3
I have seen and studied (when I bought my machine) the graphs as presented by Palerider (the halo guy; ignore the horns!). With PR we have “biflex” reflief. Does this relief help with both inhale and exhale? Is it comparable to AFLEX? Thanks. my understanding, (ie, I don't know this for a fact, jus...

Re: Can ResMed S9 be used for sleep test?
I'm using ResMed S9 AutoSet and have been looking at the output on SleepyHead ( great software btw!). I was wondering if there is any way to use the device to measure AHI etc without undergoing CPAP (actually applying any pressure) similar to what you do during a sleep test? I'm curious because I h...

Re: Finally got switched to auto - new data
that's looking pretty good!
you might consider raising the min pressure up into the low tens, so it spends less time at pressures that are way too low for you.
I'd be interested in seeing what less epr does for you too, after you've had a few days of pretty good results.

Re: how do you enable the heating on the system one 60 series
The OP mentions a VPAP type of cpap that can't be a Series 60 Respironics added as a comment in his profile. Perhaps the subject line is in error. I don't know how to manage the humidifier in that system. Humidifier: HumidAire 2i™ Heated Humidifier Additional Comments: resmed vpap adapt sv His choi...

Re: Can You Damage A ClimateLine Hose By Washing It?
As long as the machine recognizes the hose, it is probably all right. Electricity baffles me, so using a multimeter is not my thing. Electricity is very simple, chunky, here, let me explain: (ignore the part about the frog, it might be traumatic) Today's scientific question is: What in the world is...

Re: SD card sent to DME
I just wonder if I do use my own card (which I have already) will the machine download the new data to the original card afterwards. I am not sure if I will have to keep sending the card in to the DME. I know I have to prove usage so my ins will cover my machine and any new mask or tube I may need....

Resmed's Airfit line are (finally) names with some logic.
The P10 is a nasal pillows mask, the N10 is a nasal cushion mask, and the F10 is a full face mask.
The remainder is a vocabulary challenge.
