Re: Need help regarding SD Card Data.
Technically yes ....
BUT the required firmware aren't readily available. Sorry.
There was one attempt to convert the AS10 into ventilators for COVID. The Airbreak project fizzled out but definitely confirmed that the only difference being the firmware.

Re: Need help regarding SD Card Data.
As to why ResMed would even use or have a slot in this machine makes no sense to me at all. I mean, why have an SD card in the first place if it doesn't collect any information for the user to use? Just one of those things I guess that makes no sense in life. It makes sense to ResMed because all th...

To start with, "Tirzepatide, sold under the brand name Mounjaro, is a medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes." ... "Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, upper abdominal discomfort, and abdominal pain." Hmm... Maybe this is how the "weight loss" hap...

Re: Just can't sleep with my mask on!
but I am betting with the ultra super sensitive sensory issues and general problems falling asleep....it wouldn't work out well. If he can't stand a wedding ring touching him....I doubt seriously that having something attached to his tongue, sucking on it, is ever going to happen and have sleep hap...

Re: Just can't sleep with my mask on!
Also the problem is if ANYTHING is touching me, like a wedding ring or a watch, I can’t fall asleep. Hmmm … so you sleep commando without any blanket or such? Or are you ok with cloth? There are cloth masks. https://www.circadiance.com/sleepweaver They press very very very lightly on the skin. The ...

Re: Just can't sleep with my mask on!
The mouthpiece is wholly in your mouth with only the hose protruding through your lips. A hose manager could keep the hose away from you face and body. Also consider the Bleep mask system ( again with a hose manager) for minimal stuff touching your face. They basically use band-aid material to attac...

Nothing touches your face. It's mouthpiece with a hose attached to a vacuum pump.

Re: Just can't sleep with my mask on!
I am wondering if the dental device might be better, but I doubt I can fall asleep with it holding my mouth propped open in an unnatural position. I am also concerned about ruining my bite and requiring lots of expensive dental work down the road. They do not prop your mouth open. Mandibular Advanc...

Re: How to determine Good Sleep?
That laceration on my nose keeps opening every night. I’ve tried the large medium and small nasal attachment. Part of me thinks maybe I need to go to the full mask at this point. The cut just can’t and won’t heal up with the constant nose mask irritation. https://www.circadiance.com/sleepweaver/ Sl...

Re: Just can't sleep with my mask on!
so I am not really concerned about the health impact of my apnea, just the social aspect of snoring. Please read about the complications in the following article at Mayo Clinic website. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/sleep-apnea/symptoms-causes/syc-20377631 It's not simply just a sn...

Re: Flow not responding quickly enough
Thanks again, but it sounds like you and I are saying very near identical things, that is the incremental pressure increase (following the original OA) is intended to prevent the tissue sagging into the airway. That incremental pressure may or may not be sufficient to prevent future tissue sag (occ...

Re: Flow not responding quickly enough
Not just the first OA.
The APAP will ATTEMPT to prevent the next OA by increasing the pressure incrementally.
If it is unsuccessful, you will be repeatedly aroused until there's enough pressure to successfully splint the tissue.

Re: New Here -- Have Questions
I used Wellue O2Ring to confirm CPAP was working for me.
O2Ring stores readings once every 4 seconds with sampling rate of 150hz.

After about a month I stopped importing the Heart Rate and SpO2 data into OSCAR because I didn't gain any new insights, YMMV.

Re: Flow not responding quickly enough
The phrase " return the breathing to normal" suggests that the airway is no longer obstructed due to the pressure increase (e,g, sagging tissue has been splinted / resolved) What am I misunderstanding? The APAP doesn't resolve the obstruction. Your brain does. Once an apnea happens, your brain pani...
