Re: Too Much Therapy

If you have not seen you primary care doc lately, it might be a good idea.
Apnea may not be the cause for all your health problems.

Re: Have PRS1; should second machine be PRS1 or S9?

I have an S9 Autoset.
I use the LCD display all the time; the software just occasionally.
This works for a busy little froggie.
But If I had to go BIPAP, It would be the other guys.
I hear their waveform is more natural.

Re: Snoring?

The Respcare Hybrid is listed as Innomed Hybrid in the cpap library mask trial site--(same, identical mask)
The cost is very low for a 1 week trial.
Who needs a DME that won't play nice?

Re: This CANNOT Be Right.....

Make sure that the hose is not hanging up on something--corners crevices, etc.
or
Switch to a less expensive hose until you can learn to be gentle with it.

Normal settings, favorite mask, new filter. (unless doc says otherwise.)
Put your name on everything so no one tosses it.

Re: where can I download Res Scan for my S9 machine

Look for member Uncle Bob; links are in his signature, or were,
Before that, be sure your S9 is either an Elite or an Autoset.
If the name on the machine says 'Escape' anywhere, never mind.

Re: Has anyone had success with the Quattro FX?

I tried the Quattro Fx, but I own a Respironics full Life, which is much more stable.
My leaks are still somewhat unsatisfactory--time to call Pad a Cheek!

Re: Most Comfortable Pillow (for sleeping)????

It varies with each of us.
Google "bed pillow" in this forum for previous discussions.
Lucky is the person who gets it right without accumulating a collection.

Re: effective therapy

I started noticing subtle changes almost right away.
I would awaken WITHOUT my usual headache.
I slept without waking up repeatedly with a fast pulse.
After a few days, it was easier to stay awake in the afternoon.

Re: Hi, I dont know if this is the right place to post this..

Even if you smoke outdoors, the smoke will be absorbed by your hair and clothing, and be carried back inside.
That alone is bad enough. Stopping this dangerous habit is a very difficult thing to do.
If you possibly can, do it. You will be amazed at the results!

Re: SOPA Protest

I'm in!
No internet all day January 18th.
I can do it.
No shopping, no games, no browsing, no chat.
I might just unplug the router.
Sounds like a good day to read; or shop locally.
