Re: A question to those who have successfully mouthtaped

Does Trident contain xylitol?
I hear that's why xylimelts work.
If so, Trident could be an alternative to xylimelts.
Thank you, Granny, for sharing.

Maybe OP's doctor has a different definition of "severe".
Different than The Standards of Practice?

Don't walk away.

Run.
So, no doctor has ever placed his OPINION above professional standards?
It happens all the time.

Re: Should a heated tube actually feel warm to the touch?

Or a FLIR (infrared) camera.
My heated tubing never feels "warm" to my skin.
(Skin temperature is usually significantly lower than body temperature.)

Maybe OP's doctor has a different definition of "severe".
Then again, simple numbers may be weighted by comorbidities.

Re: H20 Distillery

Our local water is 13 grains hard; and reverse osmosis water leaves a white powder. RO does not correct hard water. Our distiller is similar to the one posted by Zonker, but candy apple red. The bullfrog has to delime it very frequently to maintain efficiency. It still beats the heck out of buying j...

But can Oscar deal with this sh#t?
Too bad Resmed is moving backwards.
Edit: I figured as much; so a month ago I stopped my 13+ year habit
of keeping a journal of my daily data on screen.
My next machine will likely be a Resmed--so frustration diverted.

Re: ResMed 11

Cpap time restarts at "noon". (As recorded by the cpap clock)
Can you reset the clock or your time zone to agree with your sleep time?
If not, don't worry--it will average out.
Your latest/current day will be wonky; but averages will be fairly accurate.

Re: CPAP making things worse

One of the hardest things about treating a sleep disorder is dealing with our anger. It is unfair to be afflicted with this condition. Cpap is the TREATMENT. Insurance is the means without which so many of us would be forced to continue to suffer. Cpap is good--insurance is a necessary evil. We do w...

Re: Why does heated tubing only come in 6+ ft lengths?

A hose hanger picks up the excess into a loop--up and out of the way.
A good rig will allow you to move around and roll over in bed.

Robin only posted once. Back in November, 2023.
Chances are the sensitivity is long gone.
At least she was not trying to plug noclean . . .
I hate people who do that.

The tank is designed to hold enough water for 8 hours,
unless your house is really dry--or your mouth hangs open for hours.

Re: Clearing nasal passage - Tips please.

It is fairly normal for one nostril to be stuffier than the other, and that switching sides is part of the usual function. We can safely deal with this natural cycle with mild products, if anything at all. Afrin (oxymetazoline) should be reserved only for extreme congestion-- (both nostrils, complet...
