Re: Fitlife Total Face Mask
Just got this mask yesterday. Hope to try it today. Will report back once I've tried it out. It looks interesting. Looking forward to your review I tried the Fitlife Total Face Mask during a nap. Once I got the straps tight enough, it created a pretty good seal. The seal was easily broken if I move...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
I'm trialing a full face mask now, but it is driving up my AHI significantly so I'm trying to problem solving why that is happening.

Re: cervical collar
last night AHI was 33 What was the breakdown? I attached a screen shot of last night. It has been a pattern of a higher AHI with full face mask. It is a problem I need to solve because of having allergies and nasal congestion this time of year. I do note that I forget to change the machine setting ...

Doctor's recommendation. Newbie here...thought we were supposed to start a new thread with new topic.

Re: cervical collar
last night AHI was 33 What was the breakdown? As a comparison, here's a screenshot from 2 nights ago when I wore the nasal mask (Resmed N20). The AHI is much less, but I have trouble wearing the nasal mask during allergy season even with meds. I'm hypothesizing the increase in AHI last night (on my...

Re: cervical collar
I find that when I try a full face mask my AHI index increases greatly (like last night AHI was 33, when it had been from .5 - 2.5 on previous nights). That's highly unusual. I agree, however, I can't think of any other reasoning that this would happen. It has happened on multiple nights. Any thoug...

Re: cervical collar
Has anyone found if a soft cervical collar provides enough chin support to keep the chin in place? A properly sized, firm, foam cervical collar keeps the neck in the best position for airway patency and can help prevent jaw drop. It does not seal the lips against airflow. It cannot be made so tight...

Re: solving chipmunk cheeks
Thanks everyone for your input! I tried the chin strap and taping the lips to no avail. After reading your posts, I noticed my resting tongue posture is mostly in the floor of the mouth (especially middle and posterior tongue), so I will try practicing elevating the tongue to the proper resting post...

Re: solving chipmunk cheeks
I'm having significant "chipmunk cheeks" as I try to go to sleep. Which mask are you using? Put your machine model, mask model and other pertinent equipment information (mouth tape, chinstrap, etc.) in your signature field and we won't have to ask again. Thank you for pointing that out. I will add ...

solving chipmunk cheeks
Hi everyone! I'm having significant "chipmunk cheeks" as I try to go to sleep. It is also waking me up at night. The chipmunk cheeks happen when I'm on my back but it seems even worse if I try to sleep on my side. I searched the board for information and am a little confused. Has anyone ever been ab...

Re: sp02 monitoring
Not a fitness watch, but have you heard of the Wellue O2 ring? It uses medical grade oxygen tracking and has good reviews. https://getwellue.com/pages/o2ring-oxygen-monitor I was looking to get a fitness watch for tracking oxygen levels but I read that their oxygen tracking can be inaccurate. If yo...

sp02 monitoring
Are fitness watches considered a fairly reliable device to monitor night time sp02? Last night on my Garmin, I noticed the first half of the night things were fine, but for about an hour (in the last half of the night) the sp02 readings were in the mid to low 80s. I wasn't sure how concerned I shoul...
