My first thought also...
The way his head was up on 3 pillows...seems like he decided to pass on CPAP that night. Bad decision....
I would trust pillows only when my power is out.

Re: Argh!/Another medical professional who is misinformed
Consulted an oral surgeon regarding a possible procedure and when I told him I had sleep apnea, he called that a male disease which I took issue with as a thin female. But I gave up when he persisted and said that about 75% of the sleep apnea cases consisted of men who were overweight. I was afraid...

I used to talk out loud to myself...
" The light is turning yellow...slow down and get ready to stop"
"Ok..green light now...go!"
" Get in the right lane...Watch for the next turn as you have to turn right there..."

Re: Oracle HC452 Oral Mask
I had to use the nose plugs at first. One night I forgot to put them in and found I did not breath through my nose...so just never bothered with them again. I make liners out of soft material, like t-shirt. It is a 2 x 5 inch strip. I fold it in half and cut an + shape..one inch long. This liner goe...

Re: off topic - a real nice tablet I stumbled across
I am an iPad person. I have discovered the refurbished products, from Apple. You get the full warranty but at a lower price. I also look just a bit after the new products come out! I really made sure I had plenty of memory when I bought my iPad Air, as I use graphic apps. I did the flower (my image)...

My only problem is that it is usually on the top shelf! Once when I could not find it, I spoke to management and it appeared.

Re: adjustable beds and sleep apnea
What being able to raise the head of the bed does for me...it allows me to get good results from lower pressures. I am a medically necessary back sleeper. I have tested my results, via SleepyHead, against difference levels of the head of my bed. Lower pressures mean less leaks with my mask.

Re: SleepMapper = DreamMapper
The new Dream Mapper and SleepyHead seem to be reading slight differences for me. Dream Mapper doesn't have details before 10/11 but here's the info for a few days this week: (ca stands for centrals on DM and for clear airway on SH only because that is what they recorded) 10/11 DM: AHI=2, ca=1, oa=...

Re: Jaw Dropping
I have to sleep on my back for medical reasons. I have used multiple masks and have solved the dropping jaw issue by using either a chin strap or the soft cervical collar. You can do it...just have to find the method and/or mask, strap, collar combo that works for you. I tried the shirt with the ten...

I have the PR 760 and it does the warm up just fine, but seems to stop after that. Since under one month, I am getting a humidifier replacement.
Going to find the Ora-gel mouth gel as the Biotene gel does not last long enough for me.
