Annoyed.

Re: Somewhat OT - Why do doctors deny med side effects?
Every medication CAN have nearly every possible side effect imaginable. But some of them are incredibly rare. Even if it's rare, someone reported it, or it wouldn't be listed as a side effect. So when a patient taking X drug develops Y side effect, the proper answer is, "Anything is possible, but I'...

Re: format for sleep studies on CD?
Ask if their software has a "Physician Reader" option. What does that mean? Is that a format they can save it in? If not, then you'll probably need to get a generic *.edf reader (and they will need to save the data file as an *.edf). I wasn't going to try to look at it, as I won't understand it. I ...

I am going to ask the doctor for these. They are my raw data that can be looked at in the future by someone else, should the need arise.

Re: Anesthesia Issues/3-6 Turbinate Red./Septoplasty Surgery
I had my septoplasty & turbinate reduction done at the same time as my tonsillectomy. Because of my diagnosis of OSA, they made me spend the night in the hospital so they could monitor my SaO2. I think this was due to the tonsillectomy, not the nasal surgery.

Hello, old friend! Sorry to see you are injured, and to hear you had a bad year medically.
Itching I can understand with a healing wound, but not sure why the twitches, unless it's due to a medication you're on for it...
Hope this year will be a better one!

Re: How much is weight related to apnea?
My doctor told me "Men are likely to wean off their C.P.A.P. if they lose weight. Women are not likely to be able to stop using their C.P.A.P. with a weight loss"...My doctor also said if a woman has sleep apnea her children are likely to have apnea, however if their father has sleep apnea, it does...
